Not only will this headphone amp take a mixer input, but it is also designed to pass through the signal of an XLR equipped microphone, and both signals have level controls. You can let your singer or other musician dial in as much "me" as they want, without affecting the rest of the band. It will even pass through the 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. This is perfect for studio or "silent practicing" through a mixer. The MA400 has outputs for both 1/4" and 1/8" headphone plugs. Perfect Headphone Amp

Bought the MicroMON MA400 so I could add headphones to a Mark Bass amp head. This lets me mix in an iPhone music source, using an XLR-to-3.5mm cable (Hosa XVM101M), and Apple 3.5mm-to-Lightning adapter. So now I can practice bass quietly, with my bass amp's actual tone settings, and playing along with any streaming music I choose. Also love that the MA400 includes a power supply. Perfect little headphone amp!

Great price for cheap set up

Run this for my church set up for 2 peace band it works and sounds great

These are Great!

I have a project studio that doubles as a practice room in the basement. We practice with headphones and these solved not only the volume control issue but almost everyone in the band sings as well. No more running out to the control room now that everyone can control their mix volume and vocal balance. Just bought five more while on sale!!

The best

I have used and traveled with one of these for many years with no issues. My current set up is running multi tracks for a church service. Especially for the price, you can't beat it. I am a drummer, guitar player and lead singer. Works for all of these.

ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE

Well, I've had need for such a gadget for quite some now, but no one was really offering much of anything close for functions to suit me. Saw these some time back and figured at the price point I'd be wasting my time due to the audio quality I personally demand. Never the less, I bit the bullet and ordered one for the sake of it's proprietary needed functions.

Uh.... Uh.... I was, and still am blown away over the tank like build and the smoothness of it's functions. Not forgetting the audio quality is well within my personal tolerances. You do lose a smidge of punch on the low frequencies, but not enough to remotely complain about.

Well done Behringer. And an absolute must have by anyone remotely serious about "More Me" earbud and or headphone monitoring. TONS of headroom so be careful there. Super quiet all across the spectrum in all situation.

NOT forgetting that you will find many other applications for this little puppy than it's appointed and intended use.
I'm sure to add a few more to my studio and especially my pedal boards. Now? I couldn't live happy without it.
Shoulda done this a long time ago.
