Compact 1000W Powerhouse Subwoofer!

Add some serious bottom end to your portable PA system with the Bose Sub2 bass module from Sweetwater. With a slim profile and a 1000W Class D amplifier design, the Sub2 churns out serious low-end performance — all the way down to a bone-rattling 37Hz! How does the Sub2 deliver the low-end goods while remaining compact? The answer is its 10-inch by 18-inch neodymium Racetrack driver. Often found in small audio systems, Racetrack drivers use an elongated cone shape to match the performance of traditional circular speaker cones in a slimmer format. Bose has enlarged the typical Racetrack driver design to deliver solid, room-filling low end from a slim, travel-friendly footprint. The Bose Sub2 can complement nearly any portable PA, but thanks to optimized EQ setting, it pairs perfectly with the Bose S1 Pro system. And, if you want to elevate it, the Sub2 includes an M20 threaded insert for mounting to Bose’s adjustable speaker pole accessory.

Bose Sub2 Bass Module for L1 Pro Portable PA Systems Features:

  • Compact subwoofer for portable PA systems
  • 1000W Class D amplifier delivers low-end down to 37Hz
  • Slim 10-inch x 18-inch neodymium Racetrack driver matches the performance of larger traditional speakers
  • Optimized EQ setting for S1 Pro makes dialing in your PA a piece of cake
  • Connects to the Bose L1 Pro32 system via SubMatch cable (sold separately)
  • M20 threaded insert for mounting to an optional Bose adjustable speaker pole

Loud and Clean Bass

This subwoofer is a beast in a compact cabinet. I was skeptical at first with its unusual speaker design but when I tried it out it puts out about the same amount of bass as with a typical 15" subwoofer. I have yet to test it outdoors and in a larger room venue but in the house it rocks. I know Bose has always been pricey but because of the R&D costs to develop their unique designs that really works, I'm willing to pay for quality products with their unique designs.

Boes totally the best

OKI bought 2 of these in actually only needed one. These systems are very clean, sounding in extremely loud..... I love it. I hope these up to my drum system. And I play along with the music. It is just amazing. I highly recommend these towers that I bought are just fantastic.

Wow just wow

I have never ever had a bass player and drummer say wow to much bass turn it down a little. In 35years of professional playing I have never had such a light small speaker put out so much bass. I use it with my S1pro for solo shows every week and with my band we use L1 mod2 with b2 sub and sub2. That was the only thing about the l1 system it was plenty loud and great but playing outdoor shows all the time the bass was good for small to medium venues but the big ones neede more bass. This thing does it and some. It is easy to use with any system. The controls are easy and great. Just wow

Wow this thing made my bass player and drummer say less bass! Lol

I use the Sub2 with my S1 pro for solo gigs and it made my show sound even better. I use sub2 also with my L1model2 to add bone rattling bass. This thing actually made my bass player and drummer say turn down kick and bass Gtr it's to much. Wow I never ever heard that before. Lololol. It's a great woofer and it companies or blows away subs over twice it's size and weight. As always Bose packs more in less space and makes it sound better than the rest.

Portable power

Fed Ex tore up the box but everything seems to work.

I have added the Sub 2 to my Bose L1 Pro 16 system. I have two of the L1 pro 16's and wanted a little bit more low end. This does the job pretty well and everything fits in the backseat of a Nissan Altima.

I had an opportunity to mix my band with the complete Bose set up at a wedding in a medium size wedding hall. There was also a DJ with an EV system running 212s for tops and 218s for subs. His speakers were right next to mine.

The Bose system seemed to have more clarity and coverage whereas the DJs EV system hit harder. The Bose system has more of a "pleasant" sound for the audience, whereas the DJs EV system hit hard and sounded good, but was less "pleasant" to my ears.

Overall, I think the Bose sub 2 does really well but if you're looking for the sound of 18s you should probably just get 18s. If Portability that still sounds good is more important to you than go with Bose.
