It's a pretty sweet bag

When I purchased this I thought..."is this really going to be worth the LARGE price tag?" My answer?

Generally yes, but think of this as a convenience product with some decent protection.

The case is well built but you can't drop it off the roof of your house and expect it to protect your gear. What's great about this is that you can fit a TON OF STUFF IN IT. Bose includes a cable bag inside this as well. I included a picture showing how I use the empty space at the top of the bag. You can fit cables, music books, microphones, other things.

To me this is huge because it means my entire setup is now in 2 trips (I play acoustic solo gigs OFTEN).

IMPORTANT: The reason this is great for me is because I play lots of bars...bars often have glass doors and I'm always concerned I'm going to put my subwoofer through one of them on the way in. This bag saves that problem, and to be honest it saves my back too.

The price tag is a bummer, but the convenience and the little bit of protection are worth it to me. I generally think go for it!

Great Roller Bag!

This bag really makes getting in and out of a gig much faster! It has additional storage for cords, a small mixer or drum machine as well! It has plenty of handles to make loading easier. And by the way, rolling is a lot better than carrying! I love it!

Fantastic roller bag

In my 55+ years of performing, this is the best bag I have ever had for getting to and from a venue. Super well built. I have always taken special care of my equipment and this roller bag has made it easier than ever. Don't have a photo yet, but will try to add one in the future.

So close…but so far away.

This case is expensive. However, so is the system it is built to protect. It's large, it's well made, it's well padded. The zippers are strong, and it has built in external straps so that the zipper isn't holding everything together. It has extra room for just about anything else you might be hauling as a gigging solo musician. That said. The whole concept of the Bose unit and this very pricey tote is to make life simpler for a live performer. So…has nobody that helped design this thing actually used it?
In the real world there are stairs. This was built without bumps such as a dolly might have for handling those. So, you have to carry the bag up the steps which isn't easy, impossible for a lot of us. Or you damage the bag by dragging it. Ug.
The real world has chewed up asphalt, dirt parking lots, grass lawns, and wet sidewalks. Thing sucks to drag through any of it. The wheels are straight off a pair of rollerblades, so don't assume the bottom of the bag will last long.
It's absolutely terrible that one has to pay so much for what otherwise is a perfect system, and then turn around and buy a hand truck so that you transport…a hand truck.

Dear Bose…lose the wheels and charge less, or fix this giant glaring design flaw.

I hope someone from the team reads this. I really do love this rig, and the bag…but wow. If I buy a second I'll build my own case and move on.

They look good… don’t be rough with them

I bought 2 of these Bose pro 16 bags for my units… 1st bag……..within 3 months inside zippers broke, then, both wheels fell off.. with no way to reattach..

2nd bag.. do not wheel these over rough surfaces….. EVER!!! They can't take the beating… wheels are still attached but there's a hole that was worn in the bottom of the case.

if you don't have to go up and down stairs or go over crushed rock, rough lawns, or any rough surface… these may last for you.. but if you want a rugged case… these are not it
