Should have bought these with the monitors

I've had my monitors for a year. Loved them right away, sounded better than anything I tried before. Just stumbled across these pads perusing Sweetwater. First of all my desk is kind of low so being able to use the wedge system to orient them more directly towards my ears is awesome. I was not expecting such a huge difference in sound. Right away the bass sounded deeper and more pleasent and the highs were sweeter and less shrill. Once I have a more appropriate space I'll give those acoustic wall panels a try. Can't believe the huge difference these pads made. The smallest size are more than large enough for my 5 inch Yamaha monitors. Absolutely worth every penny.

Perfect fit!

These are a perfect fit for my JBL 5" Studio monitors and the shelf they are sitting on in my control room. The are well made and I like the fact that there is a removable insert to tilt the monitors forward slightly that can easily be put back if you need.

They work great

The table on which I have my monitor speakers is a cheap IKEA table and is not a fancy standing desk. One of the downsides of that table is how boomy it makes the speakers sound. So I ordered these isolation pads from gator and they tighten the sound right up, I can finally hear toms clearly. The difference is not in sound quality but clarity, they increase apparent fidelity because of that.

Good fit, Good isolation

I have never used any of the more expensive isolation pads for sale at Sweetwater so I can't compare these to those. However these pads seem to do the trick. I have a pair of newly purchased JBL 305s (also from, Sweetwater) and these pads work to help the bass be a little more accurate and detailed. They fit the 5" monitors perfectly.

I think the thing they do best for me is elevate my monitors an extra 2" which is what I needed. These pads put them at exactly ear level as I have them on a table with some 3" soft bases which seem to isolate a bit anyway, so the ear-level elevation is the thing that does the most good for me. But all in all, I think they are well worth the price. As another reviewer mentioned, it's nice that the top pad can be turned to point down if needed.

Another A+ for Keith Klikas as he made the buying experience easy and pleasant, even followed up with a phone call.
