Great product

The product was just what we needed and as expected, very happy. But if the rating were on this company's customer service it'd have to be a 10+ Highly recomend.

Disappointing

Didn't last half and hour of practice. Wood is soft. Doesn't even feel like hickory. Wood is light and feels more like cheap Maple. Split just like maple sticks I got off Amazon one time. I'll stick with the Promark Japanese Oak sticks.

Just bad sticks

I am not one to normally write a bad review or any review at all, but this one has me reeling. These sticks truly are horrid. I bought 12 pair less than a month ago and I am already down to 5. The first stick I used snapped like a twig 45 secs into practice. I thought it was a fluke maybe just a bad stick... this was not the case. I have 1 pair of really good sticks I bought when I first upgraded my kit 3 months and they are still going strong with limited use because I want to get rid of all the these sticks that I have now. Just, save yourself the time and look for a different brand.

Let Down

To start with a little back ground: After breaking a set of Ahead Aluminum drum sticks i was in the market for a new pair, after searching for a while and deciding that i didn't want to spend 30 dollars for a new set i set out on a search for a new set of quality affordable sticks. After some looking around on the internet i found these stick on eBay and was very interested if this was the answer to my question. Upon research i found that other people have had good luck with this brand, so i thought why not.
Enter Sweetwater: with an unbeatable price of three dollars with free shipping, what's there to loose. little did i know what i was in for, or lack there of as it may be. Upon playing with the new sticks i broke them out right away to get a feel for my new toy. Twenty minutes later much to my dismay i broke the tip off. After trying to play with the newly broken stick i decided that it broke due to the small diameter at the tip. Pass another 5 minutes and another break. this time half way down the shaft of the stick. unlike all other broken wood sticks i have saw in the past this break was straight across the grain of the wood, not with the grain.
In conclusions: my high expectations for the sticks were quickly dismantled. the quality was just simply not there. i would not recommend these for anyone in the market, and any one who is thinking of buying them should reconsider.
